V112: Steampunk Expo Yay!

Okay, I’m SO tired, but we had the most amazing 1st annual Steampunk Expo here in Reno.  It was a huge success! Now time for a nap …. more photos tomorrow.

    Yesterday we went to the Elf Fantasy fair..and there where also a lot of people with a steampunk costume..my son wants to have a steampunk costume next year..so i'm looking forward to see your photo's!!..and getting inspired!!

      Marijke, it's a really fun genre. You will have a great time putting together some steampunkery for your son (and yourself!) 🙂

    Have you read The Parasol Protectorate-series by Gail Carriger? Delightful steampunk with a really personable heroine- though you shouldn't mind vampires and werewolfes. 🙂 (I don't).

      Do- the fifth and last just came out and I had to re-read them all. But be prepared, you may find yourself wanting to make some really silly hats…

      I second that! Very fun and delightfully written series of books!

      Such a terrific ensemble – I was just thinking to myself (after a rather successful jaunt with jodhpurs) that I need to add a pair of knickerbockers to my repertoire as well! Did you sew yours?
