It doesn't get any more period-perfect than these - everything from the shape of the toe, the height and slope of the heel, to the strap styling on 23Skidoo is closely based on original antique examples of shoes from the 1920s. Finally you can have exquisitely styled retro flapper shoes that will fit your modern footsies.

These shoes are killing me! I need them in my life! x

You will love them! Very comfy and look great on the feet :-)
DeleteSo excited for this pre-order! I just took a look at your size chart to figure out what size I should order. Can you tell me if the measurement provided are accurate? I'm sure they are, I only ask because I remember the size mix up with the pre-order of Georgiana shoes.

The samples we received were spot on for sizing - I wear a 7.5 and the shoes fit perfectly. The size kerfluffle happened only once with the first order, but we've since corrected the issues :-) Order your usual size for dress shoes.
DeleteExcellent! Thanks so much!

I was going to be good and not buy these but I think I must have them! Maybe I can convince my husband to buy them for me as a Christmas gift!
ReplyDeleteOh be bad! Be very bad!
DeleteAny chance these lovlies will be offered in wide sizes?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we can only manufacture in B width, but ladies of wider foot have been having success with ordering a half-size up. :-)
DeleteLove the hat with the curved ringneck pheasant feathers and mixed pheasant feather medallion. Nice look, Lauren.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think the feathers really make the hat. I didn't add them myself - they came with the chapeau - but this is an easy look to create :-)
DeleteGreat photos! And perfect timing with Halloween. You really do look like you have crazy, huge eyes. It's kind of scary, especially with the facial expression. It would transfer well into a possible zombie costume. Zombie 1920s, HA!
ReplyDeleteThe outfit you're wearing in the photos is really cute. These past few posts you've done about the 1920s have really reminded me how much I love that decade.
I've been eyeing your shoes for awhile as I've been contemplating beginning historical costuming/reenacting. Funny story, I've been mentioning in an off-handed manner to my husband the possiblity of doing historical re-enactment. This evening he barged into the living room while I was reading and said out of the blue, "So are we re-enacting at a Renaissance faire or what!??!" It made me laugh. Then he went back down the hallway singing AIC's "Rooster." Yes, true story.
Hi Rachel - you lucky girl, to have a hubby that is willing to re-enact with you! /envy . That is so cool. :-) Thanks for the compliment on my weird makeup trial - it would be good for Halloween, absolutely...many uses :-)
DeleteLOVE these shoes! And your outfit is amazing, by the way. :)
