Very cool tutorial! I like how your hair and makeup turned out :D
ReplyDeleteI've added you over on YouTube -- looking forward to more videos!
Dear Lauren,
ReplyDeleteYour video? A fabulous success. Just enough detail, use of text for those of us whose sound doesn't work, and just as nifty, a design right in the mood.
Who knew that creating those waves could be so easy...! Wave clips are a new thing to me. Need to get some pronto, and try them out on my longer hair for a "lady of middle years who refuses to bob her hair but likes a Marcel wave" look.
Very best,
Natalie
This looks really good and authentic! Your hair looked great and seemed fixed for many days to come! I wish I could do this, but my hair would never stay that curly :(
ReplyDeleteI love the video. The idea of make it like a film is great.
ReplyDeleteNereida
Wow, that's so cool! My great-aunt does the overnight curlers but doesn't really style the curls much, just fluffs them. My hair is waaaay too long to do anything like this but it looks amazing on you!
ReplyDeleteThat is the coolest video! And the hair is fab! Did you speed up the film? It looks just like the real silent movies, where it seems like people walk just a smidge faster... or maybe its just the music. Super cute!
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSilent film hairdressing! Pure genius!
ReplyDeleteNo bathtub gin at the party?
Way cool! I've been experimenting with fingerwaves lately, too. My hair is a completely different length and texture to yours though.
ReplyDeleteI never cease to be amazed at how well you slip in and out of eras. Also, I continue to think your mom is waaaaay cool.
Brilliant! Shooting the video like a silent movie was genius. You captured the feel perfectly (music, typeface, color, timing, etc.) and the production values were par excellence! More, please.
ReplyDeleteWhere does one purchase wave clips? I have the other type but not the wave ones. (Last time I resorted to thin hair strighteners and lots of hairspray to do waves...which lasted about 2 hours before becoming dead stright again. lol!)
ReplyDeleteNice Post. 1920s Flapper Hairstyle Tutorial. Please share some latest classic fit suit post.
