Shoe-Loving Ladies, Please Take This Poll…(thank you!)

American Duchess shoes will be offered in size 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5 , and possibly 11 if there is enough demand for it.*

** The purpose of this poll is to gauge the demand for shoe sizes larger than 10.5. I have asked the manufacturer to make the shoes in sizes 6 through 10.5, but I am receiving many requests for larger sizes. If there is a high demand, I will add size 11 to the range.*

    Hi Tilia –
These are very large sizes, yes, but these are not the only sizes that will be offered. I am trying to gauge how many people need a size over 10.5 (US). I have asked the manufacturer to make shoes from size 6 to 10.5, but I am receiving many comments asking for sizes larger than 10.5. If there is a lot of demand, I will ask for size 11 as well.

My mom and my best friend are a size 10 and a size 11. So I know how difficult it is for ladies with larger sizes to find shoes in general, let alone super fancy/pretty shoes. I'm a size 7 1/2 but I like that we'd all be able to buy your shoes if we wanted to. Maybe you could do short runs of the larger shoes or do them by the order( some manufacturers do that) if you don't get enough votes for larger sizes.

The real question is do the sizes run true? If they run small a lot more people who are size 10's will need to order an 11 (or for me a *shudder* 12, like I need to in dance/character shoes…)

Pam, you're exactly right. I will have to wait and see when the prototype arrives – they are making it in a size 7.5, so I can test it out myself. If the sizes run small I will adjust the size range, and make very visible notes everywhere about this.

I'm with Pam – it just depends on width. I'm a pretty solid 10 unless they run wide – then I could up to a 10.5-11.

I'm a size 5,5/6 so I hope they will not be too big. Little feet are also a problem, shoes are always too big or floppy when you wear them.
weren't women feet really petite back then?

Another vote here for wide – I tend tend to fit a 10 wide, but can sometimes go larger if the shoe is average width. If it's narrowish, it probably won't work at all…

Thank you guys for letting me know your sizes. For the pre-order you'll be able to order from size 6 through 12 (sorry, can't go any smaller or bigger!). I will know before setting up the pre-order how the sizes run, if they are wide, narrow, a bit big, a bit small. If your shoes do not fit when they come in, you can return them for a full refund, or exchange them if we have the size you need.
