:Ubersexlich Breeches – James’ 18th c. Suit

Do you know how uninteresting and even weird pictures of pants are?  You can’t put them on a dress form…they look odd on the hanger…the best I could do was to put them on myself.  They don’t fit, of course, since I am not James, but it’s better than nothing!

They want for finishing at the cuffs (you can see), and the trim and buttons.  They are fully lined (yay!), and drop-front, with triple-stitching on all seams so they will be extra sturdy for all the dancing and acrobatic James is going to be doing!

I *literally* had a looong gasp when I saw the picture.

Even though I understand why pictures of pants are weird, I think the breeches are looking very good. The color is yummy. Can't want to see them finished!

James, when/where are you going to be wearing this again? You are going to be petted at least, since that's the effect velvet has on lots of women. 🙂

I'm aiming (hint hint) for April Gaskells, but it's really more appropriate for the May PEERS evil faerie ball. ;-> Actually, I've never worn it since it's not done yet.

Gorgeous! But yes, you do look very much like a character from all those stories of girls dressing up in guys clothes!

Oh, lovely – looking awesome… and also slightly like you should be running away on a pirate ship pretending to be a boy!

Those fabrics are so lush together.

lol, girl in man clothes, yes, doesn't quite work! James is going to look great and proper, though – for April Gaskells!

Oh, for sure I gasped in a good way, your Grace. 😉

I'm sure this outfit will look even more ubersexlich on James. We'll wait and see. ^^

amazing trews!! But, as I say, I'd prefer green! James, you're going to be petted away to a greasy spot!! I have a male friend who is particularly tickled by girls in velvet. So it goes both ways!! (oh, and Laur, you could do an 18thC version of Twelfth Night which involves a heap of cross-dressing!)
