This exquisite new collection has been in development for quite some time, and it contains some truly marvelous new features and details. Inspired by historical evening-wear and glamour, we’ve created two new shoes that are sure to impress. Behold: Marigold Rhinestone 1920s Pumps and Laurel Edwardian Beaded Shoes.
Laurel
11 years after debuting our last beaded Edwardian shoe, the beads are back with a whole new aesthetic. Laurel is based on period beaded shoes that were the pinnacle of Edwardian footwear elegance. Accurate to the 1900s through 1920s, each pair of Laurels is carefully hand-beaded with high-quality, multi-faceted glass beads in a beautiful botanical motif. When the light hits the vamp of these shoes, you will be dazzled by the sparkling beads!
Laurel features our custom, perfectly balanced 2.25″/5.7 cm French heel, and closes with a remarkably clever and period-accurate tabbed tie closure that allows for a customized fit over the instep. Built on our popular Mae Edwardian last, Laurel is as comfortable as she is lovely. Coordinating petersham ribbons tie this beaded confection together with a bow. Use the ribbon we provided or swap them out with a contrasting color for a fun twist on your look! Laurel is available in both standard (B) and wide (D) width, and comes in three gorgeous colors: dusty lilac, black, and soft white.
Marigold
Did you ever dream of having a pair of iconic, rhinestone-studded 1920s pumps? We’re here to grant your wish! Marigold features a gorgeous, 3.5″/9 cm satin-lacquered Spanish heel, sparkling with hand-inset glass rhinestones. These stones are arranged in a linear pattern that looks oh-so Art Deco. We worked carefully on getting this heel just right, and the end result is just stunning to behold. The luxury of the heel is matched by Marigold’s real silk uppers- that’s right, SILK- in luxurious and elevated colors.
Marigold has an unsealed leather sole, making it great for dancing. This shoe is a sumptuous, one-of-a-kind shoe that is fit for dancing the night away. Choose from five beautiful colorways: black, sea green, magenta, yellow ochre, and silver. Fabulous!
