V236: Please Vote – What’s Your Favorite 1920s Spectator?

Spectator shoes are so cool, don’t you think?  I want to add a 1920s t-strap spectator to the Historical Footwear collection next year -called “23Skidoo” – but what color style do you like best?  I love the idea of being able to paint your two-tones any two tones you like (or more!), but there is something so classic about a black and white or brown and white pair of specs.  Please lend your vote to the poll, to help me decide!

Thanks!

Wow, love that white/white one with the ability to paint it any color with leather paints! I didn't realize you could use leather paints on shoes!

What about blue and/or red? My grandma had a pair very similar that was red. I would wear them every time I went to her house, at least until my foot got too big and then I still tried!

Hey guys! If you have a color combo you want to suggest, go ahead and type it into the "other" section on the poll, so it gets loaded into the poll results. Thanks!

I already voted for the white/white. But I LOVE the idea of a Navy/White shoe as well (I'm a blue girl at heart and navy would rock)!

I'd really like some brown/lighter brown ones. I have a vintage pair of 1940's shoes in that colour scheme and I can wear them with so many outfits. 🙂

23 Skidoo! I'd buy them just based on the name, brilliant! At this rate I'm going to have to replace all of my shoes with yours – keep up the great work.

Looove these shoes!! super cute, and i really think they could be added tot he daily wardrobe, not just event shoes. Any colour combo would be amazing, but i do suggest you keep a paintable option as well. Maybe you could add some shoe paints to your site as well? that way the shoes and paints could be ordered at the same time? Or just a link to your favourite paints so we get the best possible paint to go withthe best possible shoe! Love them lauren…keep up the amazing work

Oh my, these are perfect! I voted for the brown and white, because the photo looks so classic somehow, but I'm rethinking in favour of the white on white now… Either way, as much as I love the look of your previous shoes, these are definitely my favourites so far – because my favourite thrifted pair I mantioned at the heels posts is this style, and I already know how perfect they are! Mine are all black, so I guess that's another reason why I'd go with different colours…

Thank you everyone for voting! The white/white and the brown/white are neck-and-neck, but there are also a lot of comments for blue/white. I think I'll have to do another poll soon!

I would love to be able to, but unfortunately we can't. Factories that make even up to size 12 for women are super rare, plus it ends up actually costing us money to sell the larger sizes, even 11s and 12s, because we end up only ordering about 3 pair, and selling maybe one if we're lucky. 🙁
