Today I attended a delightful Summer Tea, hosted by Carolyn and Debbie of the Great Basin Costume Society.
There were lots of lovely things to eat, and lovely people with whom to converse.
It was tentatively a “costume tea,” but with no specific era, so I went 1940s and tried some victory rolls. Here’s how that went…

You look absolutely charming! Not necessary to mention that, but the 1940s suit you very well :).

You look beautiful! And I love the tea sets – flowers and porcelain make me smile. 🙂

You know, I just loving doing things like this. Dressing up and doing tea with folks that are like-minded and happy to settle in to food, chatting and great weather. Love the Victory Rolls. Your hair is growing out. I am letting mine grow out as well. Sweet dress. Of your making? Pattern? Cheers.

I love the pattern on your dress, and matching buttons! Have you written about that dress already?
