This video was SO much fun to shoot with the ladies of the Great Basin Costume Society. We all met in a Starbucks parking lot and laughed our bustles off getting in and out of our cars. Thank you, ladies!
That is the best and funniest thing I've seen in weeks!! :) Very true to life!! I'll go you one further though - try to button up your Renoirs by hand (we didn't have a button hook at the time) in the back seat of a tiny car. Boy was it fun! I had them done after about...10 minutes?
What a riot! The only thing missing was the opening of a trunk and masses of crinolines spilling out! Thanks for the fun--I'd say you have quite an engaging cast of funny ladies there!! Nancy N
Oh goodness, I needed that giggle!! That was me when I was headed to a cosplay photoshoot with friends. Giant poufy skirt, two petticoats, and a handmade hoopskirt. Whoa boy was that an adventure. And when a lot of my friends are going to conventions in cosplay, they tend to have hilarious stories of them getting in and out of vehicles.

ReplyDeleteThat was wonderful! So funny.
ReplyDeleteThe third time I watched it I invited my husband to watch it with me!
ReplyDeleteYour video was hilarious! My husband and I just had a laughing fit while watching it because we can totally relate! Great job! :)
ReplyDeleteInsanely funny! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteBut it also makes me wonder how 18th century women wrestled their clothing into carriages, or Victorian women into sedan chairs. :-)
Soooooo funny! So relatable! Thanks for the laugh!

ReplyDeleteI know it, I love it
ReplyDeleteMade me laugh out loud!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I've had some minor volume problems with medieval gowns, but the hoop skirts--! Wow.
ReplyDeleteN.B. "Costumers", no apostrophe. :)
I think I have watched it every day since it was posted.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! The gal with the red wig!! And the hoopskirts!! And I thought 1950s crinolines were bad.
