The new “Prism” collection is now ready! This collection is all about colors, presenting several new colorways in AD classics, along with a new design in two different heel heights. Before we jump in, here’s the scoop:

Anna May & Millie Mary Janes
“Bar Shoes” or “Mary Jane” shoes ruled the early 20th century. From the 19teens, the simple and elegant single-strap shoe was worn in myriad varieties by all walks of life, with daywear and eveningwear alike, made in plain leather and fancy brocades, as flats or ultra-high heels. With such a versatile shoe, we wanted to offer this classic style in both a high and low heel, so we present to you Anna May and Millie.
Anna May, named for Chinese-American movie star Anna May Wong, features our 3 inch / 7.6 cm French heel, arguably the most beautiful heel we offer, paired with an almond-shaped toe, high vamp, and adjustable button strap. We’re offering them in glacé leather in black, oxblood, and deep navy.
Millie, named from Black American actress and dancer Mildred Washington, offer the same almond toe, high vamp, and button strap, but paired with our 1.75 inch / 4.4 cm French heel. You’ll recognize this heel from Astoria and Kensington. Millies are offered in the same glacé leather in black, oxblood, and deep navy.
For both styles there is a nifty 1/2 inch tab under the button strap for moving the buttons for higher or lower insteps, just like originals.
New Colors of Bernadette, Gibson, and Londoner
We have two new colorways of each of these top-selling styles. All of these colorways were voted on by you, and we really love your choices! All are made in lovely smooth leather, easy to polish and care for, and all three designs have the super-comfy 2 inch / 5 cm French heel and pointed toes perfect for 1890s – 1925.
All of these styles and colors are available in both the USA and the European/UK stores – women’s USA sizes 5 – 12 – estimated delivery in January 2023. European and UK friends, we are fully set up and shipping from the Netherlands now, with fast, cheap, and easy shipping, returns, and exchanges. It took us awhile to work out the gremlins, but at last all systems are go!
