New 18th Century Shoe - Your Opinions Please

Howdy! So...I've been working on a new 18th century Colonial shoe about 1700-1770.  She's gorgeous, complete with snazzy French heel and white rand, and I'd like your opinion on what color you would most prefer...

  1. A red heel with the black leather would look smashing! No one does that!

    1. Luckily we sell red leather paint in the "Accessories" section on the website just for this purpose! The paint goes over dark leathers just fine, in multiple coats.

  3. I would love them in ivory! But also brown would be lovely!<3

  4. I would like to see more 19th century shoes--when is the 1860s pump coming?

  5. I voted for ivory even though I probably won't get them -- but because I love to see what people create with your shoes!

  6. I voted red, but not a cherry red, a deeper red, I don't know what you'd call it, not brick, or maroon, but deeper than cherry

  7. A red heel used to be the sign of an aristocrat. So, I vote red too!

  9. I won't really get them unless they're white, because most of the dresses I make require odd color shoes, and need to be dyed.

    1. Ivory is winning the vote right now, so I have requested a sample in ivory, from the factory.

  10. My vote is for a deep green, but the red heel combination sounds smashing. LOVE the new design!

  12. It looks like black and ivory are the most popular. Both colors can have painted heels, with the Angelus leather paints we sell in the Accessories section (they work over dark leathers as well, in multiple coats). Yay, customization!

  13. You always do such great work!
There not quite what I'd go for, though, since they look so similar to the Kensingtons. To me, there only seem to be a few variations from that design. I would like an 18th c. shoe that is a little further away from the Kensington design.

  14. Color doesn't matter, but size does. I love your beautiful shoes, but I can't wear them because I have a wide foot. If you could please, please make these in a wide I'd buy them no matter what color they come in.

  15. Those are so rad! Any color! Sadly, I cannot wear leather as a vegan. But I can admire the wonderful design!
