V175: Rockabilly Outfit Day

Today I went to a presentation on vintage clothing, which gave occasion to wear something, well, vintage-y.  I didn't want to mess with hair or girdles, so I wore this...

The End.

  1. I gotta know...did you make those pants? If so did you use a pattern? Cause they're rocking and I want me some of those. :D

    Thanks,
    Brooke

    1. Hi Brooke - I did make these with Burda 8488, with the waist raised by two inches (though one inch would have sufficed). I don't know if the pattern is still in print - bought it some years ago - but I'm sure there are some others for wide-legged trousers that could be used.

  2. Those pants rock! And they make you look really tall.

    1. Thank you. It's also the angle of the camera - a good trick - when you photograph your friends or yourself, point the camera from a low position, upwards to the subject.
