Edith
Edith is the spool-heeled Edwardian boot you have been dreaming of. Based on antique originals, these carefully crafted boots are accurate to 1890 through 1920. Edith features a brand-new, custom, curvaceous, and perfectly-balanced 3”/ 7.6 cm French spool heel, which makes an ideal base for our newest custom last. Edith’s super-soft leather uppers are crowned with a splendidly shaped top, and set off by handsome broguing on the shaft and toecap. The period-accurate curve along the back of the boot gracefully hugs the calf, just like real Edwardian boots. Available in both standard and wide width, Edith fits a wide range of calf sizes. Each pair of Ediths comes with two sets of laces, for increased adjustability. Edith comes in black, cordovan, black/ivory, walnut, and cream. These boots are simply splendid, and are fit for any late Victorian/Edwardian wardrobe!
Elsie
Edith’s perfect companion comes in the form of Elsie, our new Edwardian pump. Meticulously reproduced from period originals, Elsie is accurate to 1890 through 1920. These lovely step-in shoes feature smooth leather uppers with inset suede in coordinating colors, as well as a distinctive shaped tongue with cutout detailing. Elsie also features our new custom, perfectly balanced 3”/ 7.6 cm French spool heel, for that specific and iconic Belle Époque silhouette. Elsie pairs wonderfully with tea and lingerie gowns as well as evening wear, and we have colors to match both palettes. Choose from black, dark olive/light olive, seafoam, ivory/cream, and cordovan/chocolate.
