Glorious 1930s Vintage Shoes

from Etsy seller Simplicityisbliss

The 1930s is one of my favorite periods for footwear.  Everything is just so darn snazzy! Perforated leather, interesting stripe decorations, oxfords, cutouts, color blocking … ah, so much good stuff.  Here are some terribly inspirational 1930s shoes to drool over:

These make me twitch with excitement they’re so gorgeous. Also from Etsy seller Simplicityisbliss

How fabulous! I have several shoes that look very similar to the ones you've posted, it's great to know that you can find vintage-y styles in regular stores! ^^

Oh! Please, please re-create those brown and white spectator oxfords from the London College of Fashion!! So very cool and classy. I love the little sun burst details. 🙂

    They're adorable!
Also, this reminds me of a shoe post here a few years ago where I left an anonymous comment offering to send you pictures of 2 pairs of shoes formerly owned by Grandmother. You replied saying that you would love to see them and to post them on Facebook. Since I am not on Facebook I could not do that.
Now it's going to bug me, I should do a post on them.
They have the same general silhouette as these ones but the design details are very different.

I love those with the same colour/material combination as your Claremonts… because I love that combination on the Claremonts. That dark dark brown velvetiness. Reminds me of my mother for some reason. 😀

And speaking of showing vintage shoes, I'm not sure if you've seen these I saw in a thrift shop some time ago:

Now that I compare them to these, and what I've seen elsewhere and heard about private artisans in Brno, I think they're newer than 1930s; but probably not by much.

Everything about the jacket seemed fine. Quality leather, fit, color etc.The style is classic, yet modern, timeless, casual and very cool. High quality and very well crafted/constructed. Designer jackets
